It has been a long hot summer and I have hibernated in the apartment with both my AC's blasting most of the summer. I don't do well in the heat which is why I do the winter Olympics (you remember my medals from skiing?) Anyway, Fall is my favorite time of year with the leaves changing color and the days getting cooler. It rained today for the first time in ages. I have changed from winter sports now into ARE YOU READY FOR THIS ONE?????? You got it, I have been weight training for the last 2 1/2 months. I love it. I have found my muscle frame to my body again and believe me I don't want to loose it again. I can't believe what we can do to ourselves when we don't exercise and take care of our bodies. I was a mere weakling unable to lift things or do curbs because my core muscles, thighs and back were like wrinkled prunes. My knees yelled ouch, no stairs, all the time. Boy, you should see me now. I am strong able to lift the water jug at work and the AC from my window...and watch out curbs...I lung over them....my new career.....I am training for the Boston marathon in 2014 and Muscle Girl of the Year in 2012. My son Brian is my first challenge for arm wrestling next time I see him. He is trembling. So I'm busy at the gym. My stampin days are pretty much past except for an occasional new card for someone. I am reading alot more and enjoying it. I am engaged in a bible study and also have a community group with a friend called Mending Hearts. So if you have a crack, gorge, valley or any hurt in your heart, blog me and we can set up some time to pray for you. God is great, He is a faithful Father that will fulfill his promises and the desires of your heart. He always finishes what he starts so I am looking forward to all the great things that are going to happen in my life, my family and those whose lives I am lucky to touch. So I hope you are one of those people that will be a divine connection that I will meet someday and we can talk about LOVE. Be blessed and know that you are much loved.

April 24....It has been about a month since I last posted and I have been so busy. I passed a milestone at my birthday on the 30th which kind of blew me away; though I try to remind myself that age is only in my mind. I am a new creature in Christ and he restores me everyday. I had the pleasure of visiting with my eldest Son Michael and his family. I love spending time with my two granddaughters. They are both at great ages where they are becoming their own people and finding new interests, And what is important to me is that each one of them knows how very much they are loved by their Nana, as I also know how much they love and enjoy our visits. Our passion is crafting together and sharing stories. i only wish that we could be together more often. We spent Easter together as we usually do.. A celebration of the death and redemption of Jesus. A renewing of His love and passion for our lives with Him. Spring has come to CT and live has come back into our trees and the flowers are blooming. My own sping soul is slowly coming back to life after a long dark winter. I love the beauty of new beginning in this season.
I have worked hard over the last six months making stampin cards for the vendor event at church today. I love creating cards and I plan to continue along with my buddies Morning Glory Val and Stampin Lauri. We even made design paper with shaving cream. I believe God is going to use those gifts to minister to others in craft projects and bible versus. I recently put togther a project for 4 woman who are new to Christ. There lives have been struggles and most recently spent on the streets. God gave me the powerful scripture for them, "that He shall retore to them everything that has been stolen from them" (Joel 2).
I put the picture of the beach with the 2 lounge chairs right here ready for anyone to come and enjoy a seat on the warm sand, close your eyes and listen to the peaceful sound of the water washng back and forth over the beach. I think I back, I think I'm back! WOW, that was a long winter but i smell a ROSE. It must be SPRING? My favorite time of year. I was born in the spring so I come ALIVE. I had a wonderful time in Vancover, worked and played hard and meet many, many new people from all over the world. I am so proud of all my medals. I can retire and try something new. I have been doing alot of stampin and making cards for I will be selling my creations to the world on 4/24th. Get ready all (I am hoping to get some pictures on here to show off my work, like my friend Stampin Lauri) Anyway, I am also in the process of designing some new T-shirts. Those are a must have for all... the wording on them reads "God's Supergirl" with pretty designs. One day I will give you that testimony, it's a tear jerker. I know I'm rambling but had to say hello as so many of you are asking me when I am going to reappear (like the groundhog). Well I'm back...be blessed and love you...God does too

Stampin lauri has hijacked my blog.

Well bless the weather men for a great snow day off. It was fun anticipating the snow, I kept watching for the blizzard but it never happened. Oh! I should have attempted to go to work but NO condemnation here! I forgot to mention that I love STAMPIN, my newly discovered obsession. Last night was craft night with Stampin Lauri and the ladies (we were all dressed in purple). When I get the hang of working this site, I will be able to show some of my wonderful creations. I am planning on retiring and having a nice business in T-shirts and Stampin. Oh! my shirts are personally designed by MOI and read "Gods Supergirls" Testimony to follow another time. Anyway, I spent some more time on trying to fix my blog, (notice the picture). I'm going to rope Stampin Lauri into helping me since her blog is all set up. If you read my comments from last night, I won't be doing a Julie blog because my friend Valerie thinks she is Julie so, again, stay tuned. New Beginnings

As for me, today I am trying to figure out how to design my blog with a little help from other creative templates. I'm not doing well. I need a little tech help from someone who has done this before. Anyway, I am contemplating just what sort of blog this will be...will I be another Julia and Julia or the new pioneering woman? Stay tuned and be suprised with me.
